Ever since Donald J. Trump was elected President of the US, liberals in particular have been exhibiting behavior that seems to be psychotically irrational. Liberals have become childish, self-absorbed, and down right stupid. The term ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ has entered the vernacular of observers of this uncivilized mentality. But could liberal behavior indicate that they have morphed into an actual cult of stupidity?
According to dictionary.com, there are several definitions of a ‘cult’.
One definition: a group or sect bound together by veneration of the same thing, person, ideal, etc.
In case readers went to Boston University where apparently any idiot that is stupid enough to pluck down more than a quarter million dollars can get a degree (see Ocasio-Cortez), veneration means a feeling of awe, respect, or reverence for a person.
Former US President Obama, a ‘god’ to the liberals, was speaking to a crowd on 3/6/19 in Canada and he said: “If we can train a million Baracks and Michelles who are running around thinking they can change the world, hope is attainable.” His audience cheered. CNN blowhards had shivers run up their legs at the sight of the man. To liberals, Mr. Obama is the ‘god’ they worship.
Liberals do not seem to have an internal moral core. They simply disdain individuality born of cognition and mindlessly follow their cult leader. Liberals have been throwing a two-year-old tantrum since President Obama’s term expired. They don’t want to live under the by-laws of a Republic but rather would prefer living under the musings and whims of their Marxist cult leader.
Countless interviews reveal that liberals uniformly hate statements attributed to President Trump but uniformly love the exact same statements when attributed to Obama or Clinton. Liberals abhor the written Constitutional laws of the US but blindly follow those who promise free stuff and an end to nationalism. Liberals prefer to follow a person who tells them that liberal ideology makes them superior to everyone else rather than consent to a set of written laws that are applicable to all.
Another definition of a cult: a religion or sect considered to be false, unorthodox, or extremist, with members often living outside of conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader.
Let’s objectively observe the current liberal behavior. We can clearly see that liberals fit this definition in that they actively reject conventional society.
Liberals are drooling over the opportunity to live under socialism or communism. They defy the fact that neither socialism nor communism has led to peace, prosperity, or equality. Certainly liberty is extinguished by both.
Conventional society promotes liberty and free speech bestowed upon us by our Maker. Everyone should feel free to voice their opinion and engage in honest intellectual debate.
Liberals believe government should set the limits of liberty and speech. Clearly social media and the news media have embraced censorship by simply prohibiting any type of speech or expression of which they find disagreeable or antithetical to their point of view.
Conventional society believes it is wrong to kill new born babies.
Liberals are pro-infanticide.
Conventional society believes God created us all uniquely in His image.
Liberals certainly venerate (there’s that word again) transgenders and all the LGBTQ causes that all seem to establish and promote non-conventional behaviors.
Conventional society was framed by founding fathers with a disdain for tyranny and injustice.
Liberals are currently embracing the tyranny of socialism and Marxism. However, liberals cannot define either term. Their parroted ideals are not rooted in intellect or knowledge. They seem to have no ability to learn or understand that where implemented, socialism has led to ruin.
Conventional society relies on science, truth, and honest data that tell us that the Earth’s weather and climate are driven by the sun.
Liberals not only believe that the Earth is over-heating but that we are all going to be dead from this phenomena in a few short years. They believe man-produced CO2 is the culprit yet they don’t seem to understand that CO2 only makes up four-one-hundredths of one percent of Earth’s atmosphere. None of them seem to know phytoplankton in the oceans absorb CO2. The more CO2 they absorb the more they emit the chemical DMS (Dimethyl Sulfide). DMS evaporates from the ocean into the atmosphere where it acts as an agent to coagulate water vapor into clouds. Increased clouds cool the Earth and the cycle goes on.
To be a good cult follower, one must ignore science, critical thinking, logic, or any exercise of intellectual deduction. Cult members are not allowed to have individual thoughts. Individuality must be surrendered to group think.
We could keep going but is liberalism sounding more and more like a cult of stupidity?
So we must now consider, has the US Democratic Party morphed into a cult?
There is a very good paper found at http://www.workingpsychology.com/cultdef.html written by Dr. Brad Sagarin detailing the signs of a cult. We should all give the following nine points a little attention as our liberal citizens and liberal politicians slip into absolute madness. Dr. Sagarin lays out the following signs of a cult:
1. Personality changes
2. Dramatic shifts of values or beliefs
3. Changes in diet or sleep patterns: Cults will often restrict the diet and sleep of members, possibly in an effort to hamper normal, rational thought processing. In addition, the vegetarian diets commonly required by cult leaders allow the cults to feed members cheaply.
4. Refusal to attend important family events
5. Inability to make decisions without consulting a cult leader or guru
6. Sudden use of a new ideology to explain everything
7. Black and white, simplistic reasoning
8. New vocabulary
9. Insistence that you do what they are doing
Let’s see how Dr. Sagarin’s cult list works with liberal stupidity.
Personality changes. Liberals used to profess love and inclusion. Now they spew hate and exclusion. They physically attack Trump supporters almost every day. The liberal cult network, CNN, lies constantly and distorts information. They exclude Trump supporters from their forum. They suddenly embrace violent militant groups like anitfa.
Dramatic shifts in values or beliefs. Ten years ago we could not have imagined any intelligent compassionate human voicing support for infanticide. Suddenly, liberals support abortion all the way to killing a live new-born human baby.
Changes in diet. Isn’t it interesting that Dr. Sagarin lists vegan diets as a cult sign? The liberal Green New Deal pushes vegan diets. New York’s Mayor has proposed ‘no meat Monday’s’ for New York’s school children.
Refusal to attend important events. Some liberal congress members chose to not attend President Trump’s state of the union speech. Others attended dressed in Lucifer’s all white to reflect cult solidarity. Liberal athletes refuse to attend White House celebrations of athletic accomplishments.
Inability to make decisions without consulting their cult leader. The liberal cult politicians now think and vote in unison. As previously mentioned, liberals love quotes from fellow liberals but hate the exact same quote if told it came from a conservative. The Judge Cavanaugh supreme court hearings showed us that the liberal cult no longer has any connection to truth or morals. They brought in an obvious liar to smear the Judge’s reputation. The liberals turned into a modern day lynch mob as they were instructed.
Sudden use of new ideology to explain everything. Liberals know zero about actual climate influences but still repeat the climate change mantra that we are all going to die soon from this phenomena. They have held this view for more than half a century yet we are all still here. They were all for US sovereignty and border security when Obama ruled but now under Trump, they have reversed course. Liberals know zero about economics yet they seek to over-regulate every aspect of life as if only they know best. Do as they say or liberals profanely rebuke their adversary.
Black and white simplistic reasoning. Democrats in Congress are trying to push a national minimum wage of $15 p/hr. They think forcing business to pay an arbitrary dollar figure regardless of productivity will magically improve the economics of the lower-wage workers.
I’m sure readers have read the story of grocer Whole Foods who raised their minimum wage to this arbitrary $15 per hour level. What happened? The grocer reduced hours for the workers. Whole Food employees are now complaining that since they were now making $15 p/hour, they were making less money due to reduced hours. And, they were required to do more with less hours. Duh! What kind of idiot has not figured out that business has to react to higher payroll expense by cutting worker hours or raising prices? This is real simple economics. Open a business and make payroll a few months. It will click. But who could be stupid enough to keep falling for failed economics imposed by pathetically stupid politicians?
Well, there is Rep. Bobby Scott from the lost state of Virginia. His committee put forth the bill to raise the federal minimum wage to $15 p/hour. He actually had this to say about his bill:
"Today, the Committee took an important step toward lifting millions of American workers out of poverty by raising the minimum wage for the first time in nearly a decade. I am proud that we have advanced a bill that will benefit workers and communities across the country.”
How does one get this level of stupid? Yep, Mr. Scott is a Harvard grad. One must be brainwashed to keep repeating the same mantra while real world evidence exemplifies the failure of such mantra. This is the kind of thinking that would prompt a submarine Captain to drill a hole in the bottom of the ship so the sailors could have a water fountain. Wheeeewww!!
New vocabulary. Everybody that disagrees with the liberal cult is a Nazi, a xenophobe, a racist, or a white supremacist. None of them really understand these terms but cultists are simply parroting what they have been told to parrot.
Insistence that others do what they are doing. Cultists don’t engage in debate. They are right and everybody else is wrong. Wear a MAGA hat and they will knock it off. Support President Trump and they label you a derogatory term. Support US sovereignty and you are inhumane. Cults essentially coagulate around lies and liars. Truth, logic, and independent thinking are forbidden. For that matter, thinking is forbidden.
The cult mentality is so powerful that it makes people stupid. Senator Blumenthal, democrat from Connecticut, just displayed either a profound level of ignorance and stupidity, or brainwashed cult behavior, at a recent committee meeting on human trafficking on the US southern border. Testifying was U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Kevin McAleenan. Mr. Blumenthal idiotically repeated the liberal cult rhetoric regarding the current US immigration crisis. Mr. Blumenthal asserted that border crossings along the Mexican border were at a historic low. Mr. McAleenan had to correct this indoctrinated clown with reality. Border crossings are now at historic highs. Cultists believe their altered reality.
So, it would seem obvious that US society is now dealing with a level of stupidity that cannot be explained in any other terms. Liberalism has become a brainless cult. The democratic party has embraced the cult of stupidity. Why? It is the only way they can maintain power. After all, that is what a cult is all about - power.
